LANDSCAPE ANIMATION

This project is for motion graphics video of New York City using 4D modelling and After Effects. I created an experiemental style city. Various techniques were used here including 4D modelling, lighting, materials, textures, and camera technique in Cinema 4D and After Effects.

RESEARCH
I chose to do New York City because it is my dream city to visit. It is also called "Big Apple: the city that never sleeps. My initial sketches inluded famous and unique buildings of New York, however it is a 2D sketch.
MOODBOARD
My mood board included various different landmarks and inspirations for the design.
The colours I have been inspired to use are to have a futuristic and cyberpunk city effect.
CONCEPT
The colours are consistent in all the buildings to have cyberpunk 4D city. My animation has showed all the building design and scene created in Cinema 4D. The stary night effect was creted in after effects to contrast with a city that never sleeps. The river, shadows, and trees are the extra elements created to enhance my landscape.
